The risograph series originated as part of my diploma thesis, “Conversations about Trees.”

In photographic collages, trees become conversation partners, landscapes, organs, signs, or symbols.

Risography is an environmentally friendly printing process. The colors are printed individually on top of each other, similar to screen printing, but without the use of heat or chemicals.

This calendar is a project of the book art center Halle, which has been inviting affiliated artists to contribute illustrations on a common theme each year since 2015. Each artist is free to choose their own theme and approach, resulting in a diverse collection that guides the reader through the year. The annual edition is limited to 400 copies.
